Learning To Fly (Edit) \ Terminal Frost - Pink Floyd 7" Single


Released just a week after the album, 'Learning To Fly' was the biggest hit out of the 1987 album 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason'. It Reached #70 on the Billboard hot 100 charts and #1 on the Billboard album rock tracks together with another song from the album: 'On The Turning Away'. The song was written by Gilmour which once said in an interview that this song describes some of his feelings about being the new Pink Floyd leader. This edit of the song is about 30 seconds shorter than the album version. The B-side on this vinyl is the instrumental 'Terminal Frost'.

This copy is the U.S. release, released September 15' 1987. It has a full color picture sleeve. The front cover has a picture of a man's feet with flowers and plants growing out of them. The back cover has a picture of an air strip and the credits on the bottom.
